This has to be one of my all time favorite recipes and it brings back wonderful memories of when I tasted Sfeeha for the very first time as a teenager. The smells of these hot little appetizers are wonderful, but I especially love the tangy taste. There are various recipes for Sfeeha, but I am partial to the Syrian method that uses a Pomegranate concentrated syrup which makes it deliciously tangy.
Below are a couple of videos that demonstrate the process of making Sfeeha. The first video is from a place in Lebanon that is especially known for their delicious tangy meat pies. you might want to "mute" the funky music however!
